...did I mention the time we had to order Chinese takeout because the turkey wasn't ready for hours... and hours...?
The guests left with fresh turkey takeout at 11:00pm.

My suggestion - have lobster... We are packing up for our trip to the parents for our canadian thanksgiving (a few days early) ... and while we are having the traditional turkey.. we are having the american thanksgiving here... my solution to being turkey impaired (as I am)... we are having lobster ! and all of its seafood accutriments..(sp?)...
That is an absolutely brilliant idea. I love seafood!
But my family does not - Chinese take out is sounding really good!
